A Missional Community consists of a core of believers (6-8 adults, 8-15 total including children) who live intentionally as a family on mission together through the normal rhythms and routines of life as an expression of the Body of Christ to the world.
In other words, a MC will be a small community of believers (family) who live out the mission of God together (missionaries) in a specific area or to a particular people group by demonstrating the gospel in tangible forms (servants) and declaring the gospel to others (learners). In a Missional Community we gospel each other into our Identities in Christ and gospel our city through our rhythms of life.
Missional Communities will be the main way Fishers of Men Ministries does leadership development, community, evangelism, and biblical counseling. Through coaching from pastors/elders, we hope to raise up more leaders to lead these small communities built around an identifiable mission (people/place).
